Panhard Bar Bolts

I got a aftermarket panhard bar and it requires 1/2" diameter bolts. The stock panhard bolts are metric and a stepped design. About one half is one diameter( just shy of 9/16" ) then it reduces to just under 1/2". Car brackets are drilled to accept the large diameter on one side only. My concern is if I use 1/2" bolts there will be some play in the one side of the bracket. Just curious if any of you have run into this and how you handled it? Thanks.

Re: Panhard Bar Bolts

I would get the metric bolts from the dealer. I'm sure they are graded fastners and I would get the correct replacement.

Re: Panhard Bar Bolts

I see you have a bunch of BMR suspension parts. The rear lower control arms use this same style stepped bolt. Do the BMR replacements work with the factory bolts?
