all done. It came out really well today. I had to replace half of the hardline to the pass. brake becuase I fubar'd it. Also, I bought pretty much all new lines off the MC. The old ones looked absolutely horrible after they were done( i was learning on them)...now i gues we will see how well they hold. So far they didnt leak for the bleeding...i guess we will see when i actually get the car back together.

Heres mine. I just did it last week. Flaring is no problem if you have the right tool and you get what you pay for is so right! The cheap $15 made in Tiwan double flare tool lasted for 1 (yes, one!) 1/4" flare, then the teeth on the tool were gone. So got a good old made in america tool at Car Quest for $60 and it kicked butt. Now have so much more room around the supercharger. Wish i would have did the job when i had the engine out though. Would have made it a lot easier...

Dont get me wrong and I'm not pretending to know everything but I'm going to disagree with you on this one. Why would I put a proportioning valve on the back brakes of a car when the front brakes lock up first? I don't mind spending the money on my car if its needed. I guess if the backs were locking up first I could see installing a proportioning valve. The whole point of this for me was making more room in the engine bay. As far as I can tell most guys are leaving the valve mostly open.

I guess I got lucky with the autozone tool and hard lines. Wasn't trying to mislead anyone. My flares turned out perfect the first time. Well, that is the first time I didn't forget to put the fitting on before I flared it. LOL

This is similar to the one I rented. My kit didn't have a cutter, rig reamer, or files. It just had some small dies, press, and tube holder.
Here is a write up on double flares.
