With a double flare tool you put the line in the clamp, place the die into the line, tighten down the threaded part, then remove the die and tighten down the threaded part again to make a double flare. THIS IS THE TOOL THAT YOU WILL NEED
Hope that helps

Heres mine. I just did it last week. Flaring is no problem if you have the right tool and you get what you pay for is so right! The cheap $15 made in Tiwan double flare tool lasted for 1 (yes, one!) 1/4" flare, then the teeth on the tool were gone. So got a good old made in america tool at Car Quest for $60 and it kicked butt. Now have so much more room around the supercharger. Wish i would have did the job when i had the engine out though. Would have made it a lot easier...

Yes Frank. its the SJM kit with the pre-bent lines to work with the SLP line lock i already. Its a pretty easy and clean setup and the only lines i had to double flare were 2 from the SJM kit to the brake lines and the front and rear brake lines on the car after there cut. The cut is made just across from the #1 primary where they run inside the frame rail and i still have them running inside that heat shield.
