Poor Hotchkis SFC Alignment

So I bought the Hotchkis SFC's awhile ago, and went to have them welded up last night at a local shop. We got the car on the lift, and the SFC's are about 1/4" too short, due to the slotted hole that attatches to the trailering arm bolt not being long enough. The guy ran out of time and now I gotta wait three more weeks until we can lengthen the slotted hole. Pretty annoying. Anyone else have this problem? Also, what did you do with the hard lines? We were just going to slide the SFC under the lines, then drill up through the SFC and the floor to mount the lines on the SFC in their original locations.
