Pro-Series Rear Drag Sway Bar, Road race??
I have a Spohn Pro-Series Rear Drag Sway Bar on my camaro and I have decided to take this car away from the drag scene and have fun with road racing. Anyone know what the disadvantage of using such a extreme swaybar would be for a road and track car, if a disadvantage at all.

I'd make sure the sway bars (front and rear) are complementary. In other words, they should be a set that will work well together providing a more neutral balance, front to rear. If the sway bars aren't matched, you'll get understeer or oversteer depending on the sway bars. Understeer if the front bar is too big, oversteer if the rear bar is too big. Oversteer will cause the rear of the car to swing out when cornering. Oversteer is more dangerous than understeer which is why factory cars tend to understeer.
So, it depends what you're running for a front bar? How does the car corner?

Joe summerized it well above; I believe the Spohn bar is going to be way too stiff to be "balanced" with your front bar. I's desll your rear bar and talk with Sam Strano on recommendations for your road racing suspension.
