Problems after Rear Spring/Shock, LCA Install....
This afternoon, My buddy and I installed some new 1LE springs and the 1LE Decarbon's as well in the rear and I replaced my LCA's with PRO FAB LCA'S, Now I get the most wicked nosies out of the car from the rear, it doesnt sound good or right, I cant feel anything drivetrain related.. Everything is tight, Double checked it all. I'm lost here... Could it be the LCA's ?? Should I replace them back to the stockers? Driving around it feels so much better in the rear, the shocks seem like they are fine.. I need some advice guys.. Please help...

did you lube the bushings up? are the shocks in tight? meaning the lower bolts? O nthose Decarbons the Bolt is built in ... somtimes it can come loose and twist around a but... leaving you thinking it's on tight... when it really still has a little ways to go. That was the reason for my shock squeek when I had them.

Lower bolts on the shocks are tight as can be
there was a little gap where the LCA's bolt up on the inside.. I think its them more then anything really.. I also have BOLT ON Subframe connectors if that helps, But it didnt make these noises this morning before the install ....

Two of us pushin on the trunk, my friend said he felt a click in the LCA's.. These noises were not here until we just did this install.. And let me say them old shocks were alot rougher then these by far

I notice if you go to make the bolts tigheter, it will spin all together, like as if a washer was needed inside with the LCA ????? Seems loose even though the bolt is max tight ...

GUess you pin pointed the issue... As far as the LCA's the Bushing inside them should be enough to cover the chasis points... But then again is it the area where the LCA's connect to the AXLE or to the Chassy itself? If it's the Axle Gun the hell out of it... and it should eventually bend into position along the LCA bushing ... if it's the Chassy end check to see if the mounts are bent any. When I did mine I had some slack on the Axle end... and just used the Air gun to compress the metal back in sinc with the bushing... it came from me wiggling the old LCA's to get them out...

You know I'm not sure... I've taken my rear apart a bunch of times... but too tight was never a problem.."Loose" always was... when ever I had a loose bolt I always had lots of trouble. Somtimes I used the gun when I was at the shoppe... but Mostly I just used hand tools when I had to rip stuff apart at home.

I've had the rear apart a few times myself and never had any inssues... I used the impact for alot of stuff and I dunno, I guess I am lost here still...

When we put these shocks in yesterday, WE used an impact on the top nut of the shocks.... They kept spinning and spinning... Until we figured out to vise grip the top flat part... Could we have messed up the shocks???
