question about rear springs

I bought my car used and when i went to get my springs replaced, the guy at Wheel Works said there should be rubber things underneath the rear springs so the springs would not be directly touching the metal on the axel. Is this true? Is there a rubber fitting thats supposed to be on the bottom of teh rear springs?

Re: question about rear springs

There is no rubber isolator used on the bottom of the rear spring, only on the top.
