Question on LT1 spindles and drilling out for bump steer

I just drilled out my spindles for my bump steer kit. I used a good quality reemer and used it on low speed. I applied even pressure while drilling. I only had to drill a little bit, however, after I was done and inserted the bump steer kit, it looks like it is a little crocked. If you were to look at the nut at the top it is not square with the mounting surface. I don't understand how I could have made it crocked considering the reemer was tight to begin with and would have been hard to get that much off. Do you guys think this will be a big deal? Also, can anyone confirm on the factory setup it it draws up perfectly flush? I would really appreciate any feedback.

Thanks,
Jeff
