Quick chasis quesetion inside.....

Easy question for ya:

I keep seeing everywhere instructions saying "lubricate your chasis" eery 25k or so.....what the real interval? and what all needs to be lubed? what parts are even possible to lubricate w/o removing.....?

There are no chassis lube fittings on the 4th Gens. If you have had the ball joints or maybe tie rod ends replaced, they might have used parts with Zerk fittings. But from the factory, nothing. Some aftermarket suspension upgrades like LCA's, panhard rod, torque arm, or sway bar brackets may also include fittings on the bushings or rod ends.

Man thats crazy, nothing from front to back? you serious?

yeah everything stock minus a few ES bushing and panzy crap like that, just wondering, even the manual says the periods to grease the "chasis" parts and whatnot......GM sure is lazy, cant even right a specialized manual.

my 94 has lower ball joint fittings and some people have greasable u joints

Things I lubricate that I've found so far....
Door Hinges, Door locks, Trunk Release thing, shocks that hold up trunk and hood, Steering U joint, vert mechanism hinges (my cars convertable), and if you ever do the window motor Re&re you can do the window motor gears

good post thnx, i've been hitting the door hinges pretty regularly, but some of that stuff i shoiuld try asap.
