Rattling sound, how do I fix it???
OK, I just got done done some Longtubes on my car and they are hitting on the tunnel brace under my car. I have tried shimming it, bending it, modifying it, and nothing will make this piece of crap clear the y pipe. I plan on getting a different torque arm in the future but as for right now I don't have the cash to get one. Can I get a Tunnel brace from BMR or Spohn that will clear and then down the road be able to mount the torque arm to it?? OR am I going to have to get a tunnel brace now and then get a different one down the road. This rattling is driving me insane!!!!!

I had the same problem, so I removed the tunnel brace and haven't experienced any adverse driving affects. The aftermarket tunnel braces are expensive (close to 100 bucks) and from what I have heard, they don't offer the best ground clearance. If you are planing on upgrading to a crossmember mounted torque arm, then I would just wait. That is what I did, I just purchased the Spohn crossmember mounted torque arm that is compatible with LT headers.

DO NOT GO WITH NO TUNNEL BRACE!!!!
it's there for a reason. if you dont have subframes and are running with no tunnel brace, you're retarded. spend the hundred bucks and get it done right. you wouldnt get the long tubes and locking nuts with the special y-pipe and put it all together withough the gaskets would you??? then dont do that to the chassis either. the tunnel brace takes lateral forces and applies it to the opposite side when in turns. if it's not there it can't do it's job

i think im just going to build my own. i got some tubing from my dads shop that is pretty much the same size and diameter that spohn uses and I found some 3/8 thick metal i can use also. I'm an excellent welder and have a pipe bender so I'm going to try and fabricate my own tunnel brace. I'll get some pics of it when I'm done.
