rear ABS won't work, need help!

I purchased my 1999 Z28 from a friend that when he purchased it it was wrecked. The rear axle tube on the passenger side was bent so the he replaced the entire rearend. The car was originally a 4 channel rearend and he replaced it with a 3 channel rear out of an LT1.

Since I discovered the rear ABS didn't work I have replaced both rear axles with 4 channel axles and replaced the brake backing plates with the ones that have the ABS/TCS sensors in them. I also got a rear ABS wiring harness and made sure that the sensors were hooked up. Still no ABS, my TCS also dosen't work, the TCS light on the dash dosen't even light up.

Can anyone think of anything else it could be that is causing my rear ABS not to work?

After doing some reasearch on here maybe I can get some help this way. I'm gonna solve one problem at a time. I did everything right to convert a 3 channel to a 4 channel rearend, not the problem.

My rear ABS dosen't work. After driving for about 10 minutes the e-brake light comes on. Can anyone give me a trouble shooting list of things I can do to figure out how to fix this?

The "BRAKE" light indicates 1) the E-brake is on, or 2) you have uneven pressure between the front and rear hydraulic circuits. You have to find out why the pressure is different between the front and rear. Could be air in the system, leaking fluid, master cylinder leaking between the front and rear pistons, pressure differential switch stuck. Once the "BRAKE" light comes on, the ABS will not work.

Will this problem also cause the ASR not to work?

If I'm not mistaken, doesn't the LT1 rears have only 1 brake line going to the ABS unit whereas the LS1 rears have 2? I do remember for a fact there was something unusual about the rear ends and the brake lines.

A buddy had a 99 SS that got totaled. It had a 12 bolt in. We went to pull it out and stick a blown up LT1 rear that I had and it wouldn't work so we had to swap the rears off of my mothers 02 WS6 withhis 12 bolt. That was 8 years ago, so I've slept since then.
