Rear brake hose fitting

I'm using some '95 Camaro rear calipers, and I'm trying to makes some braided hose for the rear. I can't figure out what banjo bolt to use.

My local speed shop has 10mmx1.25, which looks like the same thread size. But when trying to bold it in, it went in a little ways, then snugged up. And the threads looks shiney, like the bolt was removing material. The calipers I'm using are new rebuilt units, so maybe the threads are a little rough.

Anyone know what thread size I should be using?

Re: Rear brake hose fitting

I guess no one has made rear hoses.

Going to try 10mmx1.0.
