Rear Disc Brake question on a 94 and 98+

This might be a good question I can't find anything on it, when I did a search.

The brake carrier mount on the housing of the rear end in the 98+ is it the same GM part number as the ones for 94?

I'm getting ready to rebuild a 94 rear end and thought I might be able to by the loaded calipers for a 98+ and mount them directly. I know the rotors are different w/ the e-brake and all, just seeing if anyone has explored this possibility yet.
