Question rear end fell out =/

hey guys, need some help. today i was driving my 1995 z28 6 speed and the torque arm came loose and dug in the ground (in my yard) sending the tail end of the car in the air and snatched the rear end, coil spring, shocks, ect. out from the car. i no how to replace most of it but im not sure how the rear coil springs are installed any advice will be greatly appreciated also when the springs flew out so did whatever holds them in so i have no clue what is supposed to be there
thanks , Dustyn

Re: rear end fell out =/

nothing holds them in. They just sit in their spot. The shocks limit travel keeping them under a load which keeps them from falling out when the suspension is relaxed.

Re: rear end fell out =/

They are black disk shaped things with an indent for the end of the spring to fit in.
