i took out my upper rubber thingys. somehow the spring shifted forward or back....and when the spring sprung it hit the sway bar. i twisted the spring around a little and repositioned it and all was well.

ok ill check that, cause im not sure exactly what the noise is, it almost sounds like the tires maybe hittin the wheel wells, not sure though. i have 275 35 18's. ill look into the springs and perhaps the shocks, fully adjustables but im not quite sure what i want them adjusted at.
anyway to reset them and then reset so they are both at the exact same setting? and what would be the middle, of good for track and good for comfort. like a middle setting

oh, if you didnt adjust the panhard bar or get an adjustable that's likely your problem....didnt even think of that cuz it's a supporting mod that should be done with lowering springs any way...
when you lower, it kicks the axle over to the driver's side, taking away from a centered axle. the PHB fixes this by moving the axle back in line.

checked my car looks to be rubbing on both of the quarter panels. little more on the passenger side than drivers but very little.. by lowering should it be shifted more to the pass side? i will get a adj panhard anyway. also should i just use a hammer or something to bend up the quarter panel a lil so it do rub? i only have 275's 35 18.. didnt think thatd be the problem but it is obviously the problem. thanks for the help

you really need those rubber doughnuts, the spring isolaters. there are 4, top/bottom for each side. i ran w/o them for awhile to get a little lower on stock springs and the road/bump noise was very annoying.
then went to Ground Control weight jackers/adj ride height in back and strano recommended 150# linear springs. put the isolaters back in and adj height to about 1" lower than stock. the decrease in road noise is amazing. much quieter. that's how important those pieces are.

My '97 Formy was making noises after a cat-back install. Turned out to be a tranny mount gone bad, let the tranny mounting height drop about an inch. I put in a new polygraphite mount and the noise went away. Shifting was much nicer, too.
