Rear Sway Bar question

I had some work done on my rear end over a year ago.

Just noticed today that they mounted the rear sway bar UPSIDE DOWN!! Instead of the sway bar following the bottom outline of the diff its flush against the cover and almost above it and the end links look a little slanted.

How would this be affecting my traction? lol

prolly better suited in the suspension forum...

i dont understand how its mounted upside down?
you mean it runs along the top of the rearend or along the bottom but in front of the cover instead of under it?

I would think it would affect your lateral handling more than anything else. I'm confoosed as well as to how it could be put on upside down. Do you have an aftermarket rear or cover? Sometimes they make clearance on the sway bar a little tight.

Instead of running along the bottom its running closer to the top and its pressed up against the cover.

Would it affect my hook?
