rear wheel stud bad

I need to replace a wheel stud on rear, pickup up new ones, popped the wheel off and found the axle has to come out, there's a collar right behind the studs that turns with the axle, will not let them come free, does anyone know if this collar has to be pressed on and off. i will replace all of them if I have to pull the axles.

Do you have traction control? There is a reluctor wheel for the traction control behind the hub. If that's the problem, try a "search" - I believe I've seen posts from people indicating that they figured out how to do it.
