Removable center bar for rollbar- worth it??
Just wondering if anyone here has bought a rollbar setup with a removable center bar. I'll be purchasing a Wolfe 6-point rollbar in the next few months, and I'm torn between getting the rollbar with a welded center bar or a removable one. Can anyone tell me how much the center bar hampers the capacity for rear passengers? Can people get in & out with the center bar in there? I don't plan to drive often with 3 or 4 people in the car, but I think it'd be retarded to have back seats that were completely useless. Might as well just take them out to save the space!! If that's the case, then I'll go with the removable center bar...otherwise, I'll just go with the welded bar to further strengthen the chassis and to make it NHRA legal...

It may be, which could be why it's an option for these cages. Granted, I don't plan on driving with ANYONE in the rear seats, but I just would feel retarded leaving seats in the back when they're functionally useless...

I thought it would be better than nothing for a dog or a cooler or whatever.. Like a Pro Street car.. Most have back seats... Could anyone get in that jungle gym??? Probably not, but it adds the the look of it being a real car..

re:removable center bar
well if your buying the cage to stiffen the chassis then it would probably be a good idea to get a welded center bar cause in my opinion a removable bar is completely useless especialy if your gonna run 5-piont harnessses which youll probably have to to be legal at the track. so bone up and pull the back seats and put a cage in it, thats what im gonna be doin to mine here soon
