removing lower control arm

Im trying to remove the lower control arm bolts (on my 93 Trans am)...the front one is loose, im just tryin to get it out from under the steering boot. the rear one... the nut is loose and i cant figure out how to get it out? ive tried beatin it upward to pop it out with no luck? what am i doin wrong? chiltons book just says take the bolts out..lol. right now ive got the wait of the car under the bolt with a jack(with nut still on to avoid messin threads up) and it aint moved yet. any ideas?

It is probably rusted into the sleeve. I had to use heat and a sledge hammer to get mine out. I would heat it put the nut on the end of the bolt and just hit it with as much as you can. If you have an air chisel that would make easy work of it. I had to end up getting a new bolt from gm. Hope this helps some.

still havent got this bolt out even with heat and beatin it with a sledge. did you just air chisel the bolt in half to get it apart?
