Replacing parts in the front suspension.

The car has seen 150k hard miles I'm sure and I haven't owned it long. I want to tighten up all the loose sluggish slop in the steering. When I turn the wheel to the right I get an immediate response from the wheels, but when I turn to the left there is a little play in the wheel and it takes just a little to get a response from that direction. I was thinking about replacing the tie rod ends, lower and upper a arm bushings, sway bar bushings, sway bar endlinks, and ball joints. Is there anything else I should be looking to replace on a high mileage car? I have a rag joint eliminator also that will be going in when I replace my springs and shocks.

I did all that minus the rag joint eliminator when I lowered my car and it rides better than ever. It feels much more sharp with all the new poly bushings I put in.

have you checked the rack mounts?

Possibly a control arm bushing?

I think you should do it all, then spin tires in the snow and run into a guard rail

With that amount of mileage, it would probably be a safe bet to replace everything up front. I think PST makes a kit that has all the bushing for the front and back.
