Ride height adjustment with QA1 shocks

I have the QA1 12-way adjustable shocks on a '94 bird. They came with the 315s springs but every time I adjust the height, it settles back down. I'm about 5cm from the top of the threads and STILL can't get the ride height to stay.

Anyone else ever have this problem? Could it just be bad springs or shocks? Any easy way to test these? Thanks.

I"m the only one on the planet that's ever had a problem with the QA1 shocks? Let me rephase the question then: how far from the top of the shock do you have your collar set?

Mine have about 6.5" of thread on the bottom with a 275 spring

I'm a pretty long ways from the top. With a 315 it should be pretty stiff so I guess the spring is alot shorter.
