Rotors

I need new rotors, I just got hawk hps and hp plus pads thinking that the rotors would last a while longer. I don't want to spend a lot of money on them so I looked on ebay. Does anybody have any experience with the companies on there. Are any of them decent? Should I get any particular rotor with the pads I am using? just looking for some direction

Re: Rotors

well, hawk pads are nice, but unreasonable for the daily driver. they eat rotors like crazy and you about have to spend big bucks on good specialy hardened rotors to make them last and perform for a long time. stock rotors will work, but replace them every 2 years because those hawk's will eat them up.

Re: Rotors

Ebay, as in the crossdrilled crap you find on there?
Just go to Autozone or O'Reilley's etc and get some replacement blanks. Don't get the cheapest though, there is about a pound weight difference.

BTW, why are you running both the hps and hp+? I don't think the hps are any worse on rotors than the hard ceramic pads people use for less dust that don't stop woth a flip.
