semi metallic pads

i bought some to day and autozone are they any good. i have forged aluminum weld racing wheels

The wheel specs aren't going to affect the brake pad selection. Whether the pads are any good will depend on the brand.

What brand????????? And how much were they??????? Quality pads are usually around 50 and up.... I use Raybestos Ceramics Gold Series... Cost me around 70~90 dollars..

Usually anything made by EBC or Hawk is good stuff. The generic stuff from autozone or pep boys etc is usually just cheap stuff people will just throw onto their cars. Either way hopefully you are replacing the pads along with new rotors or have your rotors machined so that they seat properly and the rotors aren't glazed.
