Shock Tower Brace

Im new to the site and forums so i hope im not doin this wrong. i am considering doing a shock tower brace for my 93 z28. is this a good investement? -anything helps thanks.

How much it helps varies by opinion. It's not going to hurt anything, though.

You *may* notice a little more stiffness- these F-bodies aren't too bad in that area- more likely you would notice an increase in vehicle stiffness and stability if you installed sub-frame connectors. Is your car a T-top equipped one?

In my opinion it's more "eye candy" than fuctional. The Search function will net you other's opinions.

on my t top 95z I felt very little. Although I did install it with koni 4/4's, poly front sway bar busings, and than the STB. When i took it off I didn't notice much at at all. thats why I feel is does very little.

Not especially, the difference is very subtle. A stiffer front swaybar is a much better mod.

I have the BMR brace and sub frame connectors on my 93Z... I do know there is a difference in handling... Opinions vary...
