Shock tower braces

I recently came across two shock tower braces, for free. I acquired them along with a 1994 Z28. Neither was installed, but I am assuming both are compatible with that car. Back story here.

One is a red two-point brace. Looks like Spohn or BMR.

The other is a chrome-appearing three-point brace. No idea who makes it.

I haven't inspected either one closely. I will take pictures and post them later.

Anyway, my plan is to install one of them on my car, and sell the other one. I've heard that three-point braces on these cars are pointless, since the cowl is not a structural member. I've even heard that a three-point brace can warp/bend/break/tear the cowl. Based on that, I'd want to keep the two-point brace for myself.

So, some questions:

1. Will a shock tower brace intended for a '94 Z28 fit my '02?
2. Are the things I've heard about three-point braces true?
3. Does anyone want to buy a three-point shock tower brace? What's a fair price?
4. Do I have to do anything special to install the brace on my car?

I've had a 3-point LG Motorsports shock tower brace (he actually calls it a "4-point") for 13 years, and the cowl and the windshield are not damaged in any way.

Some people will argue that any STB is pointless. I noticed a slight difference when I installed mine. Since the 3 point unit required drilling through the cowl to install, its not the one I'd use if I had the choice you have. I'd let someone else do that on their car. Or sell both if you can't tell the difference when you install the 2 point bar.
