Shocks/Springs

You know how in a new car it rides smooth? and bounces smoothly when you go on a hole
My camaro does not do that. It just clunks hard when i go over a speed bump and the rear right goes so low it scrapes on the metal panel
I have 18' rims what needs to be replaced to get it to run smooth and bouncy
I plan on rebuilding the car since the blown head gasket

Re: Shocks/Springs

First, set you tire pressure around 30-32 psi max, any higher give a harsher ride. Second, replace the rear bump-stops if they appear damaged or excessively worn. Third, replace the exhaust hanger rubber bushings if the hangers fit loosely in them. Forth, check the front upper and rear upper shock shaft mount nuts and tighten them if loose. Or replace the shocks if their old/worn-out with a set of Bilstein shocks.

Re: Shocks/Springs

We have a forum for "Suspension, Chassis and Brakes". I'll move your post there.

You also need to modify your "Signature" with more info about your car - year, model, engine, trans and any major mods. We can guess from your limited description that its a 4th Gen V6, since that's when the Cayenne color was available.... but why make people guess when they are trying to help you?

You aren't going to find quality shocks at Auto Zone.
