SLP Subframe Connectors Bolt On

Has anyone painted the nut plates that fit inside of the factory subframe boxes?

I saw surface rust on the plates and was concerned, now that I have them on the car I am tempted to pull them off and paint the plates to stop/slow down further rust.

I also noticed that the rear bottom bolt bent the mounting tab as it tightened down. Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks

Alan

JUst weld them in and solve your problems. Just touch up the bare metal.
