Softer Suspension?

Is there a shock for a 96 camaro, that will give me a softer ride while not sacrificing traction? I love my car, dont get me wrong, but i feel that as if i were to drive over a postage stamp i would have "39 cents" imprinted on my butt cheek.

A quick cheap way when be too lower the tire pressure to 30 PSI all around.

Ohh, and get rid of that poly mount and get a regular rubber mount from NAPA.

I dont have the same tires as you but ive read that those nittos have a fairly stiff sidewall and would contribute to the rough ride, maybe you should look into another brand of tire when yours wear out.
I have single adjustable konis with stock springs and the ride did improve a bit but i wouldnt say its worth it for the price. You should get some bilstein shocks if you have the stock springs.

ok, first of all, my poly mount doesnt have anything to do with the ride. I'm looking for a good shock, but imo bilstiens arent really worth the price. and my tires get great traction and dont really want to lose that

Anything less then bilsteins just aren't worth it. Theres not many choices for good shocks for a f-body, so if you aren't willing to pay around 340 for a set then don't bother and just live with the stock shocks.

you want your performance sports car to ride like a cadillac...but you think a $350 set of shocks is overpriced??

So will the bilsteins make the suspension softer, and i'm gunna ask you guys this question, "are they really worth the money, will i not have a "39 cent" bruise?" will it ride like a cadillac?

Its never going to ride like a cadillac, you baught the wrong car if thats what youre expecting. The shocks will make it a take bumps a little better and it will also handle better, its up to you weather or not its worth it. Im guessing you have 17"s, thats were most of the rough ride will come from, i really noticed a difference when i put my new wheels on.
