spacers?

Ok i've decided that no one makes better than 1LE springs that don't lower your car. So can i get some progressive rate springs that lower the car and put some kind of spacers in there. The car is headed towards a drag car, but will still be a daily driver. I have some boxed components so ground clearance is an issue. I got some kyb agx's cheap, so i also need to pick a spring that goes well with them. Any help appreciated.

Re: spacers?

call up kyb...get the valve rating and specs on the setup as it will be very important to match. call one of a hundred different spring companies and let them know the specs of the stock 1-le spring, your kyb valving and what you plan to do with the new ones. for the same price and often less you can get a custom spun set of springs.

Re: spacers?

I you are going through that much trouble you should just get an adjustable ride height kit. THe ground control rears work with just about any pig tail spring that will fit in the rear

Re: spacers?

How will you sacrifice ride? You can pick your springrates, as soft or as firm as you want? Heck you can run the 1LE springs on the rear GC perch then set the rideheight.

On a sidenote, a drag car probably should run 1le springs since they are stiffer than stock. You probably want it softer back there.
