spindles

I am upgrading my front brakes with a set off of a 99 SS. The spindles were included. I am also replacing the A arms with BMR pieces. So things looks right, I'm planing on powder coating the spindles. has anyone done this? I understand that I'll need to take them to a machine shop and have .0005" taken out of the hole for the bearing. I was just wanting to confirm.

Re: spindles

have you looked into POR-15? that's some pretty tough stuff too...shines like a gloss black paint. just an idea cuz it would be easier to work with. you could also do your rotors with it and it would look amazing.
