Spohn Sway Bars

Spohn Sway Bars
Hey guys,
Just curious if anyone is running Spohns aftermarket Sway bars, and if so, what size (front/rear)?
Have you noticed any improvment, and if so, what?
I'm not sure if his 25mm rear bar would be too stiff and cause to back end to be too happy in corners.
I plan on doinga few suspention mods, but in the coil/shock deparment, I plan on stock Coils and Koni dbl. ajd. shocks.
Thanks,
Igor.

Re: Spohn Sway Bars
That's not a set I would buy for handling, especially a 32/25 combo. 32/21 isn't bad but its a little tailhappy, even on 285s.
If I were you I'd get Sam Strano's 35/22 hollow bars. Lighter, and better matched.

Ya, i've done a lot of reading, and his bars seem like the way to go. I send him an e-mail to see what he thinks. That's most likely what I'l go with (Sam's bars).

I e-mailed back, but the first one got bounced. So if you don't get it, I answered you...... and asked you call. Some things you want to know are not items I can answer (actually won't because of lack of detail) online.

Yep just call him.Im a e-mail guy when it comes to shop out of canada but...
I made an exception for Sam and its was really a good idea to talk with him.30 mins later i was the owner of the set of 35/22 hollow with all the poly bushing and a brand new set of koni shock.
Sam service receive a 5 stars rating from me

I'll get back to you just as soon as I can..... Might be Monday now. I have about 8 more calls in line first (yep, I busy), and I'm not in tomorrow as I have a 9 hour drive I have to make tomorrow (and back on Sunday night).
I have the message, and I will be in contact--I promise.

Re: Spohn Sway Bars
I have the 1 inch solid chrome molly spohn rear sway bar, and I absolutley love it! It launches straighter on the street, handles the nasty curves at high speeds... why wouldn't anyone like it??

Re: Spohn Sway Bars
Okay, I just installed my Strano's yesterday. I bought them from a guy who bought them from Strano and the invoice only says "35MM" for the front. I don't know what the rear size is. But it is noticeably larger in diameter from stock.
My car is absolutely flat in the corners now! And I can break the rear loose anytime I want to. Maybe that's what some guys don't like. But it's fun. I may regret that if I ever get into AutoCrossing. But for now, it's great.

Oh, and when recovering from the slide it does so very smoothly. No jerkiness like before. Now, the springs and shocks helped with this, but the difference is more noticeable since adding the sway bars.

Still waiting for Sam to call me back! I know he's busy, but so am I. And I'm itching to spend money!
I think I kinda know what I want, but need advice.
I think I want 35/22 bars, Koni SA and not sure what coils.
