spring/shock help

I was wondering what you guys thought about which setup I should get. Currently I have all stock springs with stock front shocks and Bilstein HD's in the rear. My plans for the car are a 11 second drag racer that will see a lot of street time. It's not my DD, but I will drive it a good bit. The decision I'm trying to make is should I keep the stock springs and get some really nice shocks like Koni SA. Or should I get the BMR or DMS springs and some cheaper shocks like the Bilstein revalves?

Performance is more important, but I'd also like it to look good too. I have 17" rims if that makes a difference.

lowering it will hurt your drag launch...

so i would just do the shock upgrade...to something adjustable

I've heard that a lot too, but I have a friend with an 01 Z28 running 1.53 60' and low 11's with the BMR springs.
