Squeaky Brakes

Hey all. I've got a '99 SS and last week, my brakes started to squeak. How can I fix this? Can I do it myself or do I need to bring it into the shop?? Thanks.

Re: Squeaky Brakes

There's little metal "finger" on the pads that squeaks on the rotor when the pads are worn out. Is that what you are hearing?

Re: Squeaky Brakes

If so you can replace the pads yourself, and take the rotors somewhere to get turned. Cheap fix, should be threads in the search option.
