I am having a terrible squeling coming from my front left only when i turn in to parking spots and around corners. I have my abs inop light on and my brake light stays on. I have every light for the damn brake system on go figure, thats prolly a bad thing wouldnt u say. If anyone has some suggestions on what it could be that would be excellent.

what type of gears do u have cause if u have 4:10 gears your abs light will stay on cause there is no abs ring on 410 gears i have same problem

I have 3.73s, but i have had them for like 30k miles. This light is a recent occurence that goes on and off, and then stays on sometimes. I'm guessing the squeling has something to do with it. I think its one of the sensors, cuz it always does it when i go through puddles, but today it just came on. I am gonna take a look at it next weekend to try to get to the bottom of all three problems.

My front left sqeals also when making tight turns. I don't know what it is. I don't have any lights on though.

are you certin the noise is coming from the front, many 4th gens have rear axle trouble that squels when turning sharp, if your just pulling in slowly the rear shouldnt squrl but if you have any speed then the axle in the housing moves and causes a squel from the back disc that sounds like its coming from the front because your turning the wheel when it occurs.....

well, i need new brake pads, they dont squeal when stopping but there is enough play in them so they squel when turning. Im gonna throw some new ones on tomorrow. Thanks, Michael

I had GM 4.10 gears installed in my stock housing and the ABS worked fine for 60K miles.
