Re: steering all jerky

Strut tower braces do not help much, if at all. Check the rod ends, and steering slack in the rack and pinion. I do not think the rod ends would give, and hopefully not, but it is worth a shot. The rack and pinion slack can only be solved by getting a new one. I do not know of another way to get rid of the internal slack.

Why don't you get a rag joint eliminator. It fix the slop in my steering. Unbalanced Engineering

Re: steering all jerky

a lot of lt1's "bump steer" like symptoms are due to the shocks. change those bad boys and i garantee you will be happier. just get some revalve bilsteins or konis

I saw some other posts that said the joint eliminators don't always work. I think it is from the actual teeth inside the rack & pinion getting worn down over time so it creates a little slack between the teeth.
