steering parts - need info - FE1, FE2, F41

I have the FE1 suspension in a 91 Firebird = Soft Ride

The options:
Suspension System, Soft Ride FE1
Suspension System, Touring Ride & Handling FE2
Suspension Special Heavy Duty F41

The Question:
Are all the parts such as tie rods, center link, and steering box interchangable based on will it fit? I went to order parts and they want to know FE2 or F41 or not either one of those.

Now, the reason I'm also asking is should I get the FE2 or F41 parts because they are better and will they fit?

Thanks
Doug

Re: steering parts - need info - FE1, FE2, F41

I am trying to find the same thing out for my 94. This may help abit, today I called a salvage yard in regards to lower control arms (front), he needed to know if I had the 1le, or f41 or the "other". Apparently they are different, however over last weekend I installed upper ball joints, and inner and outer tie rods, and the parts were either the same for all or I got lucky.

I put a steering box on for the FE2/F41 this weekend. worked great. You can tell the difference in the 3 1/2 to 2 1/2 turns. The pitman went on the box, so everything after that will of course work.
