Steering Problem

After I installed my BMR K-member,i am having a clearance problem with the rag joint in the steering shaft hitting my Pacesetter long tube headers.Anyone else have this problem after installing a BMR k-member..If so what did you do to fix it??Maybe a LS steering shaft?

Re: Steering Problem

Make sure it is in centered relative to the frame rails. Mine is a umi but the driver side locater pin forced the whole k-member over to the driver side and I had the same problem. I ended up enlarging the whole in the frame rail on the driver side so i could get the k-member shifted to the center.
