stock LT1 replacement brakes

How much do they typically run and where can I find them? I'm looking for everything, i.e. rotors, calipers, pads, even spindles.

I wouldn't spend the money to buy new stock LT1 brake setup. For the same or slightly more money you could with the LS1 setup which is a much better system (1" diameter large rotors, dual piston calpiers). Do a search on the LS1 brake conversion.

If you really want the LT1 setup, there's probably a lot of used parts out there to be had cheap.

The brakes are so I can run Bogart wheels. Will LS1 brakes fit w/ Bogarts?

yes...whatever you do, don't buy cheap pads. the pads make the brake obviously. i had a set of duralast's and if you stepped on the brakes twice in a row they would hardly stop and when you did it would be a stink smoke fest

I definitely wouldn't step down in braking ability. Could you contact Bogart first to make sure their wheels will work around your application? If you do go with the LT1s, people are practically handing them out. When I finally get around to installing my LS1 set, my LT1s will be going to the curb for garbage pickup I'm sure.

I believe I have my complete old LT1 stuff minus one of the hubs but they're interchangeable between LS1 stuff. The shipping is what would kill you.
