Question Strange wear on new pad install....

I replaced the pads on the front of my Z about 2 weeks ago and ever since, it looks as if only half of the pads are actually using the disks (slight rust look on the disks).
When I took off the old pads I went ahead and took out the bolts/pins for the calipers, cleaned them and re-greased them with the proper grease then placed everything back on with the proper torque specs per the Haynes manual. I also had the brakes bled before the new pads and went on. The car seems to brake well enough although I haven't gotten on it really hard because of the way the disks look...
Any ideas of why the pads are not using all the disk before I pull them off again?

My Hawk HPS pads did that when I installed them. Don't know what caused it but after a week or two all was well.
