strut tower brace

This question is for curiosity's sake. I've been looking to get a strut tower brace, and everywere i look, i see "Will not work on vehicals with traction control" or "Will work on vehicals with traction control". Why do some strut tower braces work on traction controlled cars, and some dont? What makes this happen?

Heh, probably not what you're thinking

Traction control cars have a bunch of stuff in the engine bay that blocks the straight line between the shock towers. So a STB for a traction control car has to be sort of U-shaped to get around it.
