Strut Tower Braces

Help!! I want to install a strut tower brace on my 2000 Camaro Z28. Can anyone suggest a good make or model? Also where is a good place online to buy the brace.

look at the vendors of the site...I'm sure you can find a used one too in the sale section just search for it.....I think they are all about the same quality, most are very similar in design

Get it either for looks or for hanging towels on. I wouldn't and didn't spend the $ for a new one. Look for a used STB.

Another vote for they are all about the same. Look for a Group Purchase on suspension parts.
But like others have already said, they don't make a lot of difference. 4th gens dont have strut front suspension. If you want to improve handling there are smarter ways to spend your money.

depends on what you do with the car....
if you auto X alot with out one over time it will push the towers in at the top, so I have heard
IMO it is just for looks

Thanks for the help in locating a tower brace. I found your website easy to use and ordered some items I needed. The prices were better than some other auto part sites I have viewed. Thanks again. Lyle

I'd have to disagree with the pushing the towers in thing.

Talk to Sam Strano about this. He doesn't run one or SFC IIRC.

Depending on the class you are in, STB's and SFC's are not allowed in auto-x.

3rd gens have struts so they have excessive loads at the towers
since 4th gens have shocks the load isnt as severe, some consider it negligible

No, it won't.

<-- Autocrosses with big sticky tires and can't tell a bit of difference since he sold his STB and cut off his SFCs.

On a 4th gen car, this is true.
