Subframe Connectors

Does the whole interior need to be removed to weld them in or can you just peel that section of carpet back? Im gonna have a set welded in and im wondering if i should yank the interior... Thanks

Re: Subframe Connectors

mostly just the places above the weld and nearby.

Have a buddy sit in the car with a spray bottle of water to make sure things dont get too hot. Also have a fire extinguisher nearby and after finished, watch everything for about 30 minutes to be certain you dont have any hotspots.

at the least pull the seats out and roll the carpet. you can keep the center console (if it is the sfcs that go down the outside of the body.)
