suspension mods

Re: suspension mods
Lower springs are going to be stiffer than your stock springs. Stiff springs will resist weight transfer making it easier to spin the tires. Resetting the suspension geometry wil with LCA relocation brackets and an adjustable PHR will help, but a stiffer car wont launch as well as a softer one all things equal.
If its a street car, I wouldnt worry about it too much. I'm sure theres plenty of people out there cuttin sub 2 second 60's on street tires with Eibachs and other popular springs.

Re: suspension mods
i had 1.9 on the 60' times with lowering springs and crappy tires alone. i'm sure that with the mods i have now and with the power i have now i'm in the 1.6 times. All i have is shocks, springs, LCA, subframes, PHR, and torque Arm. i dont have the relo-brackets yet, and i dont have drag radials/slicks. i still have the stock rear so i'm going to have to pass on the tires for now.
theoretically, you can hit the 1.6 times without touching the suspension...but you can also do it with just suspension. so, the cheaper way to do it is with the thousand it takes to beef up the suspension as opposed to the 4 grand into power mods like chargers and stroker kits.
