suspension overhual

i have a 96 z28 and its in need of new suspension. are there any good kits out there? whats the best brand? is it best to just replace the stock suspension or upgrade to performance? what all would i need? any help is greatly appreciated. thanks!!!

Stock will not improve but bring you back to square one when the car was new. My mods list the parts and my car drives and handles amazing.

What purpose does the vehicle serve - straight line (drag race), going around corners (auto-x, road race), or just an all-around daily driver?

I want the car to be able to handle like a autoX car but i want to keep it as much of a weekend driver as i can.

Are you doing the work yourself? I started with simple upgrades and basically keep it as a work in progress. Going with the poly bushings was the first step and i just kept going until the car was at the point i wanted.

ok. I am planning on doing it myself. do you think it is a DIY project or should i leave it to the pros? what should i start with first? I have never gotten into sespension on any of my vehicles. I deffenatly am getting adjestable shocks. i am curretly looking at strano performance package 1(Strano Performance Parts - Part Details anyone know how hard these are to install? and what kind of performance they give? I really appreciate all of you guy's help.
