Re: sway bars

st bar is hollow (if you're talking about the 35mm iirc)

and the stock rear is pretty good
decide if you want more, but if you go bigger, it's easier to lose the rear coming out of a turn

Re: sway bars

It's my understanding that the ST bar is solid. Give Sam Strano a call at Stranoparts.com. He's an F-Body suspension expert and can help you setup your car. He offers a hollow 35mm front bar; I have one...nice piece.

Re: sway bars

ST is solid 35mm. SLP (overpriced) & Sam Strano make a hollow 35. Hotchkis makes a hollow 36.

As noted correctly, too big of a bar on the rear makes it easier to lose. Generally, most run no bigger than 22hollow/21solid in the rear, and that's usually when matched to a 35mm up front, not the stock or 32 bar. Your spring rates play into this too. Call Sam up, he'll guide you down a good path.

Re: sway bars

The ST bar IS solid and pig heavy. Stranos or Hotchkis are the hollow pick one of those.
Stanos is the best for everybody. But I got the 36mm Hotchkis for my 94 and the 99 has that pig heavy ST bar on it

Re: sway bars

I just received the hollow 35/22 mm bars from Strano Parts yesterday. Very nice pieces. As previously mentioned, give Sam, Jr. a call. He was very generous with his time and expertise regarding setting up my car.
