Re: sway Bars to use
Look for someone parting out a 3rd gen IROC, Formula, or GTA and get the rear sway bar, depending on the year they will be between 22 and 24mm. Bigger than our measily 19mm. The fronts on 3rd gens will not work. There is a company that sells a 35mm sway bar. Sorry Im drawing a blank on the company.
I'd also invest in new bushings. That alone will help out nicely as the ones on the car are pushing 16+ years now and likely shot.
Tires: wider = better, brand name = better
Wheels: If you can afford it, depending on the offset will help out as well
Springs: 1-1.5" drop helps out nicely
Subframe Connectors: will make the car stiffer and more structurally sound, and cut down on the rattles and squeaks a stiffer suspension will definitely create.
panhard bar, LCAs, and torque arm is more for straight line traction, but Im sure will help a little with handling.
But in recap the biggest differences you will feel are: new bushings, sway bars, tires, and springs

Re: sway Bars to use
They are all the same get whatever is on sale or in the classifieds. But I think a 1.5" is a nice drop, anything lower and ride quality really suffers. Your not doing .93gs in your car every second of your drive. In fact you won't even do high cornering 5% of the time, so why be miserable 95% of the time.
Look into the 17x11 Zr1s for the rear, I like the way mine handle and they are capable of supporting a 335 tire. Again, better handling.
