1984 Z28. Disc up front, drum in the rear. Id like to have disc all the way around, slotted and cross drilled, 12 inch. How do you go from drum to disc?

I'm guessing the easiest and perhaps cheapest way for you to do that would be to find a used rear end out of a 3rd gen IROC that had disks on it already. Or just get all the bracketry and equipment off said car.

most axles manufactures make you use existing brakes, you may be able to get the ls1 brakes on there if they weld tht backing plates on there for you. of course, like anything else in life it will cost you extra to take care of this. the ls1 brakes are realy good though, aluminum caliper and 12". but if you dont want to do all that there are kits out there that you can buy to put on yourself to convert them over

If you are going with the Strange 12 bolt it comes with the caliper mounting brackets for 93-97 disk or drum brakes. You could check with Strange about their brake systems, or Baer Racing, or a stock rear disk system. Basically just need the rotors, calipers and pads, and maybe new hoses. Bolt them on and bleed the brakes.
