Tailight replacement?
alright well this has to do with the brake lights, if not, move it to the right forum. my left tailight went out on 94' Z28. Does anyone have a good write up or instructions on how to remove the tailight to replace the bulb?

Re: Tailight replacement?
Just peel back the hard capeting in the back of the hatch right behind where the light is.
Next you'll see a series of ***** that you just unscrew until they are all off.
Next, you just pull the taillight out with care (the lights are still in the tailight assembly with wires attached to them and your car).
Next you'll need to find the appropriate burnt out bulb. (this may be accomplished by having someone else step on the brakes while you observe the tailight)
After locating the bad bulb, twist the similar looking **** (as on the tailight assembly), on the back of the tailight assembly counter clockwise about a 1/4 of a turn. (There should be 2 spots on the **** you have to press in to make the 1/4 rotation.) This should make it so you just pull out the bulb socket attached to the wire.
Then just pull out the bulb from the socket.
The replacement bulbs are common, and can be found at most Auto stores, or Wal-Marts.
Reverse the directions and you should have a succesfull bulb replacement.
