Taking car in for 8pt, what else?

I have a 94 camaro with a 355 and 250 shot of nitrous. I am dropping the car off in the next couple days to get the 8pt bar installed, what else should I get done while I am there? I removed the HVAC system, so I am going to have him fab something up to cover the monster whole in my firewall. I dont have the seats in yet, so I am going to wait to have them installed. Should I have sub frame connectors installed too? Or wait for them, or how bad do I acually need them? Let me know whatelse. I hope to have the car running 10s by the end of next season.

Weld in a set of LCA relocation brackets.

I would have subframe connectors installed too. Is there any reason why you are having a 8pt cage installed instead of a 10pt? Below I have listed some of the other things you might want to look into if you plan on running 10's at the track.

SFI 18.1 harmonic balancer mandatory
Aftermarket axles and axle retention device mandatory
SFI 4.1 spec transmission shield required on automatic trans cars
Rollcage required for convertibles or cars running faster than 135.
Rollbar is still OK for full bodied cars with stock firewall, floor, and body.
SFI 29.1 flexplate if car runs 135mph
Flywheel and clutch must be SFI 1.1 or1.2
Flywheel shield meeting SFI spec 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, or 9.1 mandatory.
Driveshaft loop mandatory reguardless of tire type.
SFI 16.1 5 point restraint mandatory, updated every 2 years.
SFI 3.2a/1 fire jacket.
Helmet must be Snell 95, K98, 2000, 2005, SFI 31.1, 31.2, 31.1a, 31.2a, 31.1/2005, 41.1, 41.1a, 41.2, 41.2a, 41.1/2005. SFI 31.x = SA SFI 41.x = M
NHRA only. All non-OEM supercharged, non-OEM turbocharged, and nitrous cars need SFI 3.2a/1 fire jacket

I see.... it wouldnt be that unheard of to run 135mph and still be in the mid 10s. I bought the 8pt kit from Summit, I just ask him if he can add the top hoop and front bars then.

In keeping with the 5 point harness theme, something often overlooked until you're installing the belts is the bracket for the "crotch" or "sub" belt...
