Temporary bolt in for sfcs
Well, my trans am has shocks, lcas, phb, stb, swaybars, so far now. I figure its time to get sfcs to tie it all together.
I know people diss the bolt in ones, but, will I be alright getting bolt in ones for now and if i find a good shop or someone I trust to weld it for me.
I don't trust just anyone to work on my cars and welding is even more of a gamble because I have heard horror stories.
Is there any real difference in structural rigidity? I know you can still weld in the bolt in ones. Anyways, the bolt in ones are like 30$ more depending on brand so could I just get the weld in ones, drill my own holes and supply my own mounting hardware?

Re: Temporary bolt in for sfcs
I bought a set of weld-in SLP Connectors off of ebay. They have all the bolt holes just not the hardware. I bolted them up for now and will weld them when i get a chance. Was a lot cheaper for bolts at the hardware store. Noticed a big difference in the stiffness of the car right away.

You can see the connectors below the bottom of the car but I havent had any problems with bottoming out. Its not any lower than my exhaust at its lowest point. So far no complaints.
